Gloucester County announces 33 new positive COVID-19 cases on April 6

A total of 284 positive cases have been confirmed in the county since the start of the outbreak.

Gloucester County health officials announced 33 new positive COVID-19 cases on April 6 as the pandemic continues across the region.

As of the morning of April 6, Gloucester County has conducted 1,662 tests. Of those tests 1,355 are negatives, 284 are positives and 23 are still pending.

Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 cases is 284. The newest COVID-19 cases are as follows:

  • A 69-year-old male from Harrison Township
  • A 69-year-old male from Monroe Township
  • A 50-year-old female from Woolwich
  • A 68-year-old male from Deptford
  • A 38-year-old male from Franklin Township
  • A 35-year-old male from Franklin Township
  • A 54-year-old male from Deptford
  • A 42-year-old female from Washington Township
  • A 67-year-old female from Deptford
  • A 37-year-old male from East Greenwich
  • A 24-year-old male from Deptford
  • A 66-year-old male from Swedesboro
  • A 34-year-old female from Woolwich
  • A 68-year-old female from Monroe Township
  • An 18-year-old female from Washington Township
  • A 47-year-old female from Woodbury Heights
  • A 54-year-old male from Deptford
  • A 49-year-old male from Deptford
  • A 76-year-old male from Washington Township
  • A 76-year-old female from Glassboro
  • A 66-year-old male from Washington Township
  • A 60-year-old male from Washington Township
  • A 49-year-old female from Logan Township

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.

Most people with mild symptoms do not need to be tested. It is important to stay home and isolate from others while sick.
