Washington Township High School grad Pete Brodzinski shares his life experiences with students of Bunker Hill Middle School

Washington Township High School graduate of 2006 talks about living with Down Syndrome.

 

Washington Township High School Class of 2006 graduate Pete Brodzinski will share his experiences of navigating life with Down Syndrome during a series of assemblies at Bunker Hill Middle School on Wednesday, March 18. Brodzinski, whose mother, Jan Brodzinski, is a special education teacher at WTHS and whose brother, Greg, is the new Philadelphia Phillies bullpen catcher and catching coach, will be a featured speaker as part of the school’s Building Better People initiative.

He will speak to 8th graders during the first period (8:02 a.m.), 7th graders during the second period (8:54 a.m.) and 6th graders during the eighth period (2:06 p.m.). His appearance was arranged by Student Assistance Coordinator Mike Petticrew. Brodzinski has appeared on several episodes of ABC’s hit show “What Would You Do?” and was recently featured for a friendship he has formed with new Phillies manager Joe Girardi.
