Cardinal Village participates in Gloucester County Cares About Hunger food drive

Join Cardinal Village in the fight against hunger! The senior living community is participating in the 15th annual “Gloucester County Cares About Hunger” food drive from Monday, Feb. 24 to Sunday, March 1.

Cardinal Village is joining a countywide effort to collect nonperishable items to benefit the Food Bank of South Jersey. Preferred items include canned meats (corned beef, ham, chicken, tuna, or salmon); whole grain breakfast cereals; oatmeal; granola bars; pancake mixes; peanut butter; canned or dry beans; canned vegetables, fruits, soups, or stews; assorted nuts; pasta, rice, and macaroni and cheese dinners; dried fruits, fruit cups and applesauce; canned 100% fruit juices; and shelf-stable dairy products. Also accepted are pet food (maximum bag weight- 15 lbs.) and personal hygiene items. Please do not donate items in glass bottles or jars. To learn more, please visit www.uwgcnj.org.

United Way of Gloucester County, Gloucester County Board of Freeholders—Human Service Advisory Council and People for People Foundation sponsor the “Gloucester County Cares About Hunger” food drive.
