Ice Hockey: Eastern tops Shawnee, 6-2

The Vikings hosted the Renegades at Virtua Voorhees Skate Zone where eight players picked up points in the 6-2 win.

Eastern Regional High School’s ice hockey team comes out on top with a 6-2 win over Shawnee High School’s ice hockey team on Jan. 6 at Virtua Voorhees Skate Zone.

The six goals scored by the Vikings provided points for eight different players as the team sits atop the Allen Tier in the league. The Vikings’ next game is scheduled against the Moorestown Quakers at the Igloo in Mount Laurel on Jan. 10 at 9:10 p.m.

Shawnee’s Thomas Caputo and Thomas McKeown each netted one goal as the Renegades prepare for their next game against Washington Township (Gloucester) at Holly Dell Ice Arena on Jan. 10 at 9:20 p.m.
