Counselors are on hand at Palmyra Police headquarters, 20 West Broad St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Thursday for those struggling with substance abuse as part of the Straight to Treatment program. No appointment or insurance is needed, just walk right in and be helped.

Palmyra will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt at Legion Field at 9 a.m. Later on in the day, they will hold its first Easter Egg Hunt for those with special needs at noon in the Community Center backyard, 20 West Broad St.

Free Rabies Vaccine Clinic for dogs and cats from 1-3 p.m., Chief Flournoy Park, 20 W. Broad St., Palmyra.
Saturday, May 4
Palmyra Downtown and Public Safety Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. along Broad Street. Vendors can send in applications through April 19.
Palmyra War Memorial Committee
The Palmyra War Memorial Committee is actively seeking a resident to fill a vacant Board of Trustee position within our committee.
We meet four times a year and hold our annual Memorial Day observance. We also do cleanups at the memorial at least two times a year.

Seniors Lunch
The monthly seniors lunch event is held every third Tuesday at the Christ Episcopal Church Parish House, 4th and Howard St., Riverton. All are invited for the free lunch and can bring a friend. A chair lift is available. If you need a ride or know someone who does call SEN HAN Transportation at (877) 603-5111 to register.
The lunch is free of charge, but donations are welcome.

The Palmyra Police Department is hiring and looking for certified and SLEO II candidates for full time employment. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, a U.S. citizen and have a valid New Jersey driver’s license. Applications can be picked up at police headquarters.
