Two men were arrested and charged with robbing a Cherry Hill bank on the afternoon of Dec. 12, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

Marlton resident Cory Amerman, 32, allegedly entered the PNC Bank at 803 Haddonfield
Road, took money after passing a note to a teller and fled, said police. Cherry Hill detectives and Camden County officers later located Amerman and 48-year-old Admir Hoornaert of Glassboro in Camden City, where Amerman attempted to flee.

He was charged with first-degree robbery and is now in custody at the Camden County Correctional Facility in Camden. Hoornaert, too, was charged with first-degree robbery, as well as receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, officials said. He is also being held at the Camden jail.

All individuals charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a
reasonable doubt.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Det. Michael Manning of the prosecutor’s office at (856) 365-3246 or township Det. Robert Daniello at (856) 432-8834. Tips can also be sent to www.camdencountypros.org/tips.
