Straight… to Treatment
Those who are struggling with substance abuse and have been thinking about seeking help can do so at the Delran Township Police Department on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 28
Stop by the township’s firehouses – 1020 S. Chester Ave. and 9 S. Bridgeboro St. – from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for open houses. There will be fire safety information, tours of the facilities and fire trucks, and meeting with the firefighters.
Saturday, Nov. 4
Get ready for winter. A free give-away of gently-used coats for youth and adults will be held on the front lawn of Zion Lutheran Church’s Parish Hall at 218 S. Fairview St. in Riverside from 9 a.m. to noon.
Monday, Nov. 6
Delran Board of Education work session at 7:30 pm., 52 Hartford Road.
Wednesday, Nov. 8
Veterans Appreciation Ceremony and Dinner at 6 p.m., Delran Municipal building, 900 Chester Ave., Delran. The Delran Fire Department is hosting the dinner and it is open to all Burlington County veterans and guests as well as those who serve our communities daily.
Friday, Nov. 11
Join Delran Township as they honor all past and present service persons for their service and sacrifice at Delran Township’s Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 11 at 10 a.m., at 900 Chester Ave. The Flags for Heroes will be displayed outside the building from Nov. 10-12.
Delran Green Team
Delran Green Team meets the second Wednesday of the month at 7:30 in the Delran Municipal Building, 900 S. Chester Ave.
Delran Seniors Club
The Delran Seniors Club is a social club open to anyone 55+ from Delran and neighboring towns. Membership is $10 annually, with monthly meetings at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Bridgeboro Road in Delran.
The meetings begin at 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month except for December. The club attempts to have speakers at each meeting to bring information relevant to “our
lives and needs.” A complete lunch is available for $7 at sign in.
Members enjoy two day trips a year. Our fall trip is on Oct. 24 to the Shore Club in Spring Lake to see a tribute to Frankie Vallie and the 4 Seasons. The spring trip will also be to the Shore Club on March 21 for St. Joseph’s Festival.
Dec. 7 is our annual Christmas Party (no meeting in December) from 5-9 p.m. For more information about the club call Betty Jewell at (609) 713-4440
Delran Historical Society
The Delran Historical Society meets on the third Tuesday of the month at the Delran Township Municipal Building located at 900 Chester Ave. The meetings are in Community Room 3 and start at 7 p.m. We frequently invite speakers to address the membership.
