Blood Drive
The American Red Cross is experiencing a national blood shortage. Fewer donors than needed gave this summer, drawing down the national blood supply and reducing distributions of some of the most needed blood types to hospitals. Hurricane Idalia further strained the blood supply with blood drive cancellations and reduced blood and platelet donations in affected areas.Â

Fine artists and craftsmen will be featured at the Medford Arts Center Fall Art and Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The rain or shine event will be held at the Medford Village (Gazebo) Park on Main Street at the Medford Arts Center, 8 N. Main Street in Medford.
A variety of artisans will be represented including fine art painters, wood turners, glass artists, potters, jewelry makers, photographers and much, much more! Food and artist demonstrations will also be on hand. Vendor spaces are still available. Go to MedfordArts.com for more information.

Seneca High School’s Marching Band is excited to host its 19th annual USBands Competition on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Golden Eagles Stadium, 110 Carranza Road, Tabernacle. There are currently seven bands registered for the event. Medford Arts Center announces its 2023 annual Poetry Contests.
High School students attending schools in Burlington County may submit up to three poems per entrant to [email protected] using “2023 High School Poetry Contest” in the subject line and including name, address, high school, grade and contact number. Residents of Burlington County over the age of 18 may submit up to three poems per entrant to [email protected] with “2023 Adult Poetry Contest” in the subject line, and including name, residential address and contact number. Medford Township is offering businesses and residents an opportunity to sponsor new banners for Main Street. This project originated with the Woman’s Club of Medford in 2015. Now, after eight years of proudly being displayed, it’s time to replace them. Each banner will include the name of the sponsor and will be attached to the light poles along Main Street.
