Camden County veterans and first responders are encouraged to apply for the Camden County War on Terror Service Medal, whose recipients will be honored at an upcoming Medal Ceremony on Monday, Sept. 11, at 7:30 p.m. in Cooper River Park.
To be eligible, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Must have served during the War on Terror or as a first responder in the recovery operations after 9/11.
- Must be a current resident of Camden County. First responders must be current resident or a resident during recovery service.
- Military: Proof of Service – DD214. First responder: Statement of Service for the period noted.
