Wonder Time Elective and Diagnostic Ultrasound will host the South Jersey Mom and Baby Expo at Total Turf Experience sports complex in Pitman on Saturday, April 15.

It’s an opportunity for expectant moms and those already mothers to glean information from event vendors on raising a child.

“Our vendors range from ourselves (Wonder Time) to ultrasound and boutiques,” said event organizer Glenda Barachko. “We also have photographers, acupuncture and chiropractors for people trying to conceive (a baby).”

According to Barachko, 52 vendors are expected along with about 1,440 guests.

Businesses will include Image is Everything Studios (photography), Three Little Birds Perinatal (infertility, loss and pregnancy after loss support) and Liquid Gold Goods (lactation cookies and treats).

Vendors who want to participate can purchase a 10-by-10-foot space on Eventbrite for $100 by Monday, April 10, or a 10-by 20-space for $150.

Businesses that cannot attend but want to promote themselves can advertise by purchasing a swag bag for $75, by Saturday, April 8. Vendors can call or text (856) 553-5138 for more information.

“We’re hoping to get clients, and I am very specific with my audience,” Barachko noted. “A lot of people are the same way. I wanted to spread the word and get the maximum number of people for the expo.”

Barachko hosted a smaller Mom and Baby Expo in 2018 and plans on having two per year, once in spring and once in the fall.

“I’d like to do it when it’s not too hot and there’s no snow,” she noted.

Barachko will donate 10 percent of all proceeds from the expo to Three Little Birds, a nonprofit that helps those who have suffered a miscarriage.

Tickets for the expo are free and there is no deadline, but they must be claimed from Eventbrite. Hours for the event are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
