Citizen Police Academy returns in Cherry Hill this January

Program runs from Jan. 18 to March 15.

The Cherry Hill Police Department is excited to announce the return of our Citizen Police Academy! This nine-week program is designed to increase resident’s understanding of the operational policies and procedures of the police department.

Participants will explore firsthand various aspects of law enforcement. The Citizen Police Academy is open to any adult who lives in Cherry Hill who has not already participated in our previous Citizen Police Academy and has no felony convictions or pending criminal actions at the time of application. Please note that participants must pass a background investigation prior to acceptance.

The Citizen Police Academy meets every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 820 Mercer Street. The program will run from Jan. 18, 2023 until March 15, 2023. Class size is limited to 20 people (first come, first served), and there is no cost.
