Gloucester County veterans honored with federal medals

"These military veterans deserve our deepest respect and gratitude,” Director DiMarco said.

On Wednesday, April 13, the Gloucester County Board of Commissioners honored 31 veterans (seven of them posthumously) with federal medals that they had earned during their time in service but had not received.

“These military veterans deserve our deepest respect and gratitude,” Director Frank J. DiMarco said. “We are honored to have had a part in helping them get the medals and honors that they have earned.”

“We are grateful for the chance to express our deepest thanks and appreciation at this ceremony to these veterans who risked their lives to serve our country,” Commissioner Denice DiCarlo, liaison to Veterans Affairs said.
