GCIT blood drive collected 65 pints for the Red Cross

In total, 65 pints of blood were collected.

Gloucester County Institute of Technology’s (GCIT) annual blood drive, which occurred on Jan. 13, consisted of the American Red Cross and GCIT’s HOSA. Qualified staff and students, over the age of 16, gathered in the GCIT gymnasium with many people from outside of the GCIT community who also generously donated.

Those who were not able to donate still offered care and support by assisting the American Red Cross employees. In total, 65 pints of blood were collected.

Nationwide, there is a constant need for blood. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood, so to those who came out to help with the blood drive, or donated blood, thank you very much for participating!
