Commissioners to hold COVID-19 townhall today

The event will begin at 1 p.m. and will be streaming live at camdencounty.com/live as well as on the county’s Facebook page.

The Board of Commissioners and the Camden County Health Department will host a virtual town hall to address resident questions and concerns regarding a variety of ongoing concerns with the Covid-19 pandemic. The panel will be addressing the surge in cases and hospitalizations, expanded testing sites and vaccines.

The event will begin at 1 p.m. and will be streaming live at camdencounty.com/live as well as on the county’s Facebook page. Questions from the public are already being collected on www.CamdenCounty.com, and residents will have the opportunity to submit questions during the town hall on Facebook.

“To keep up with the surge in cases that we’ve seen over the last month, we’ve expanded testing to ensure that residents in all areas of the county have tests readily available when they need them” said Commissioner Jon Young. “During Wednesday’s townhall we’ll be answering any questions that residents may have as it pertains to testing, vaccines and general inquiries about the COVID-19 pandemic here in Camden County.”
