Gloucester County Boys and Girls Club welcome new board member

The organization was founded in 2005 and is part of a network of 4,300 Boys & Girls Clubs, including 22 in New Jersey.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County is welcoming Joe Brigandi into its Board of Directors. The current Board of Directors approved his nomination on Thursday, Nov. 18.

Joe Brigandi is a former Gloucester County Freeholder and Glassboro Council Member who was instrumental in starting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County Glassboro Club Center.

Brigandi, who graduated from Rutgers University with degrees in Business Administration,
Municipal Finance Administration, and Principles of Public Purchasing, has a multitude of
business and government-related accomplishments that have greatly improved the Gloucester County community.

He most recently served as the Borough of Glassboro’s Executive Director of Economic Development from 1999-2019. Brigandi lives in Glassboro with his wife, Elaine and continues to work closely with the Gloucester County community. In his retirement, he began and runs his own consulting business called Brigandi Group Consulting.

Who are the Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County?

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to
serving the youth in Gloucester County. The organization was founded in 2005 and is part of a network of 4,300 Boys & Girls Clubs, including 22 in New Jersey. Its mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

It has two Club locations in both Paulsboro and Glassboro. The organization has academic, health & wellness, financial literacy, and character-building programs to help put its Club members on a path to success.
