CamCo Addiction Task Force holds virtual opioid information session Sept. 22

This discussion will focus on how things are now, and what is being done to combat it.

Camden County Addiction Task Force and Camden County College present “Where are we now?”, an overview of current information on Fentanyl, opioids, overdose fatalities and grief support.

Over 2,200 individuals lost their lives in Camden County from 2010 to 2021 due to addiction. This discussion will focus on how things are now, and what is being done to combat it. Speakers include John Pellicane, the director of the Mental Health and Addiction Office, Disiree Whyte, the County and Alcohol Drug Director of Monmouth County, and LeRoy Standford Jr., a teaching administrator and director of the Addictions Counselling program at Camden County College.
