Commissioner Al Dyer announced that an emergency drainage repair project will require closing Evesham Road overnight in Cherry Hill and Voorhees Townships. There will be a full road closure at the intersection of Evesham Road and Springdale Road/White Horse Road from 8 p.m. tonight through 5 a.m. Friday morning.
“Please allow yourself extra time to reach your destination and remain alert if your route includes Evesham Road tonight,” said Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “Any time a project requires the full closure of a roadway you can expect sudden stops, new traffic patterns, and other changing conditions.”
A posted detour route will guide motorists around the impacted area. Scheduling and project timing are dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
