The Camden County Department of Health (DOH) is announcing 15 new deaths caused by novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Camden County, as well as 118 additional cases of the disease. This brings the aggregate number of confirmed positive cases to 38,194 in Camden County today and 1,023 total fatalities.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families as we mourn the passing of 15 additional members of our community due to COVID-19,” said County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr. “Even with cases falling, we must continue to take preventative measures to protect the most vulnerable members of our community. In the coming months, we may begin to see life return to something resembling normal with the continued rollout of vaccinations. Until then, please continue to wear a mask, social distance, and work with our contact tracers when they call.”
The Department of Health is announcing 118 additional positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) identified in Camden County. Trace investigations are being facilitated with the patients and remain ongoing.
In addition, the county Department of Health is also announcing 2,294 confirmed resident cases and 1,302 staff cases have occurred out of the aggregate case load of 38,194 in our 56 long-term care facilities. At this time, 456 resident deaths have been reported from these facilities, as well as seven staff deaths, out of our 1,023 total fatalities countywide.
