There are two upcoming American Red Cross blood drives in Berlin Borough. The first is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Berlin Farmers Market, 41 Clementon Road, on Saturday, Dec. 19. The second is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Virtua, 100 Townsend Ave., on Thursday, Dec. 24.
Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. One blood donation can potentially save up to three lives. Donors must be in good health and feeling well, as well as weight at least 110 lbs. Blood can be donated every 56 days. For more eligibility requirements, visit the American Red Cross website.
