RCSJ is only school in state to rank on national list of 25 Most Affordable Online Associates in Human Resources

Rowan College of South Jersey’s (RCSJ) online Human Resource Management program has been ranked as number 10 on Value Colleges’ national listing of the 25 Most Affordable Online Associates in Human Resources for 2021. The college is proud to be the only school in New Jersey and one of two in the entire Northeast Region to have placed among the top 10 colleges and universities on this list.

In determining their rankings, Value Colleges uses the most recent, publicly available data from the National Center for Education Statistics’ Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, supported by tuition, student satisfaction and salary information from Niche.com and Payscale.com, along with various respected national rankings including U.S. News & World Report, Businessweek, the Princeton Review and Forbes. Value Colleges analyzes this data according to their own proprietary formulas to provide students with guidance on the most trusted, accredited colleges and universities across the country that provide a balance of price, marketability and return on investment.

RCSJ, recognized as the top-ranked community college in New Jersey by Schools.com and one of the best online community colleges in the state by the Optimal Guide to Online Schools, has long professed that a quality education has its greatest impact only when coupled with affordability and accessibility. It is this core belief that has driven the College to offer its more than 100 degree and certificate programs at the lowest tuition rate in the state.

Human Resource Management is a highly technical field with significant job opportunities for candidates with the right credentials. In years past, it was not uncommon to find jobs within the field that did not require a post-secondary degree, but increasingly even entry-level jobs are listing a college degree as a baseline requirement. Those who have years of experience within the field can hit a roadblock as well, finding they cannot advance further within their careers without a degree despite their wealth of industry knowledge.

RCSJ’s online Human Resource Management program offers students the opportunity to save money while earning their associate degree on their own schedule, from the safety and convenience of home. Students looking to pursue a bachelor’s degree will find the College’s partnership agreement with Wilmington University allows for a seamless transfer to complete their bachelor’s degree online or at Wilmington University’s New Castle, Delaware campus.

Despite the challenges the coronavirus pandemic has wrought on our nation’s economy, job growth is still strong in the field of Human Resources. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts a seven percent increase in job growth for over the next nine years and lists the median salary for Human Resource Specialists in 2019 as $61,920 – making a degree in Human Resource Management a solid investment during uncertain times.
