Motor Vehicle Crashes
• Oct. 13 – Parking lot of Wawa, 631 Mullica Hill Road – two vehicles, no injuries.
• Oct. 13 – 200 block of Mullica Hill Road – two vehicles, no injuries.
• Oct. 14 – Mullica Hill and Harrisonville roads – two vehicles, no injuries.
• Oct. 15 – Swedesboro Road and Windsor Drive – two vehicles, no injuries.
• Oct. 15 – Cedar and Mullica Hill roads – two vehicles, no injuries.

• Oct. 25 – Swedesboro Road and N. Main Street – one vehicle vs. deer, no injuries.

• Oct. 26 – N. Main Street and Cohawkin Road – two vehicles, no injuries.
• Oct. 26 – 700 Block of Malus Ct. – two vehicles, no injuries.
• Oct. 28 – Parking lot of 625 Breakneck Rd. – two vehicles, no injuries.
• Oct. 30 – Breakneck and Cedar roads – two vehicles, no injuries.
• Oct. 31 – 300 block of Mullica Hill Road – one vehicle vs. deer, no injuries.
• Nov. 1 – N. Main Street and Wolfert Station Road – two vehicles, no injuries.

Investigations / Arrests
Oct. 10 – Units responded to 700 Mullica Hill Road, Inspira Hospital, for an unruly patient in the ER. Upon arrival, officers were able to assist with calming the patient so that he could receive proper treatment.
Oct. 13 – Officers responded to the 600 block of Mullica Hill Road for a noise complaint. Upon arrival, the individuals playing the loud music agreed to turn it down without issue.
Oct. 17 – Officers responded to the 300 block of Clems Run. The involved residents agreed to turn the music down.
Oct. 18 – Units responded to the Dunkin Donuts at 606 Mullica Hill Road for a suspicious person. Upon arrival, staff advised an unknown female entered the ladies restroom and refused to come out even though the restrooms are closed to the public. The restroom was opened and the female was no longer inside, as she had apparently vacated the premises while staff walked away to call police.
Oct. 18 – Ptl. Christopher Foster conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Mullica Hill and Cedar roads. Upon speaking to the driver, a 20-year-old Swedesboro resident, Ptl. Foster detected the odor of marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A probable cause search yielded a clear plastic bag containing suspected marijuana and a suspected marijuana cigarette. The driver was placed under arrest, transported to headquarters, processed, and released with a summons to appear in Harrison Township Municipal Court.
Oct. 19 – Units responded to the 100 block of Wheatly Boulevard for a reported theft from a motor vehicle. The resident advised unknown actor(s) entered her vehicle sometime overnight and removed a wallet that contained credit cards, debit cards, and $10 in cash.
Oct. 19 – Units responded to the 100 block of Cider Press Drive for a reported theft. The resident advised sometime overnight, unknown actor(s) stole a Biden sign from her front yard.
Oct. 19 – Units responded to the 1200 block of Ellis Mill Road for a theft. The resident advised that on two occasions over the past two weeks, unknown actor(s) stole her “WuTang is forever” yard signs.
Oct. 20 – Units responded to the 200 block of Woodland Avenue for a theft. The resident advised unknown actor(s) stole a Trump sign from the yard earlier in the evening.
Oct. 20 – Ptl. Anel Kalabic conducted a motor vehicle stop on Stephen M. Sweeney Way in the area of Walters Road. Upon speaking with the driver, a 28-year-old Hampton, Va., resident, Ptl. Kalabic detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. The search yielded a black Glock 19 handgun loaded with hollow point bullets and a clear plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters where he was processed, charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of hollow point bullets, and possession of marijuana. He was then transported to the Salem County Jail pending a hearing in Gloucester County Superior Court.
Oct. 22 – Units responded to the 600 block of Bainbridge Drive for a report of a suspicious person. The resident had chased an unknown male going through his vehicle. The male then fled to a waiting white sedan which left the development towards N. Main Street on Swedesboro Road. The subject had apparently entered a neighbor’s vehicle as well, but nothing was taken from either vehicle. The suspect and vehicle were gone upon police arrival.
Oct. 23 – Ptl. Kenneth Rodgers conducted a pedestrian stop in the area of Mullia Hill Road and the Route 55 overpass. The subject, a 44-year-old Glassboro resident, was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Bucks County, Pa. A search incident to arrest yielded 10 small clear glassine baggies with blue wax folds containing suspected heroin and a used hypodermic syringe. The Glassboro resident was transported to headquarters where he was processed, charged with possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and being a fugitive from justice. He was then turned over to the Salem County Jail to await a hearing in Gloucester County Superior Court.
Oct. 28 – Officers responded to the unit block of Woodland Avenue for a reported burglary to a shed. The victim reported that during the overnight hours, unknown actor(s) cut the latch to his shed. Items inside were moved around, but nothing was taken.
Oct. 29 – Units responded to ShopRite at 143 Bridgeton Pike for a dispute. Officers spoke to a subject who had been escorted out of the store for not wearing a mask. The subject advised he has a condition that prevents him from wearing a mask. The store manager conveyed a similar story, however he advised the subject began screaming obscenities and getting close to his face. Neither party wished to pursue the matter further.
Oct. 31 – Units responded to Mullica West Apartments at 58 Woodstown Road for a noise complaint. The caller requested officers advise their neighbor to keep down the noise. Contact was made with the accused apartment holder and they agreed to keep it down for the rest of the evening.
Oct. 31 – Units responded to Mullica West Apartments at 58 Woodstown Road for a neighbor dispute. Upon arrival, one neighbor believed the other neighbor was video recording them with their phone. In reality, the neighbor with the phone was simply speaking to someone over Facetime. Both parties were fine and went their separate ways.
Oct. 31 – Units responded to the 200 block of Harrison Ridge Drive for a reported theft. Upon arrival, the victim advised unknown actor(s) removed their black and blue “we support police” sign from her front yard. The sign was valued at five dollars.
Oct. 31 – Units responded to the unit block of Morning Glory Circle for a noise complaint. Upon arrival, a resident was utilizing a PA system for karaoke. They agreed to shut the music down for the night.
