Barbara A. Beckson Mertsock joined her beloved husband, Joseph Martin Mertsock, in the eternal dance on Sept. 6 at the age of 79, surrounded by her beloved family. 

She is survived by her adoring children: Pamela Mertsock-Wolfe (Christopher), Michael Mertsock (Diane Sanfilippo), Timothy Mertsock (Shannon Mosley), her cherished grandchildren: Zoe Wolfe, Ashley Mertsock, and Tyler Mertsock, her siblings: Maureen Harman, JoAnna Beckson, and Joseph Beckson, as well as nieces, nephews, and grandnieces. 

Barbara grew up in Philadelphia, raised her children in Cherry Hill, and enjoyed her retirement in Haddonfield. 

Barbara’s smile lit up the room, and her embrace comforted anyone in need of support. Her mission was her family, and love is her legacy. 

Donations can be made to Bayada Hospice. Family will greet visitors on Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Avenue, Haddonfield.
