COVID-19 update: Gloucester County reports 18 new cases, one additional death

The 18 cases is the highest total the county has had in 12 days.

Gloucester County reported its highest daily total of new COVID-19 cases in nearly two weeks on Thursday, June 25 with 18 new cases.

The 18 new cases is the most the county has reported in a single-day since it had 28 cases on Saturday, June 15. Gloucester County also eclipsed 2,500 total COVID-19 cases on Thursday.

Here is a breakdown of the county’s new COVID-19 cases by municipality:

  • Deptford – 3
  • Monroe Twp. – 4
  • Washington Twp. – 8
  • West Deptford – 1
  • Westville – 1
  • Woodbury Heights – 1

Gloucester County also confirmed one new death of a resident ill with COVID-19 on Thursday, a 44-year-old man from Mantua. He is the 173rd COVID-19 related death in the county.
