Gloucester County reporting 23 new COVID-19 cases, five additional deaths on May 14

The five new deaths bring Gloucester County's COVID-19 death toll above 100.

Gloucester County’s COVID-19 death toll reached 100 on Thursday as the county reported an additional five deaths.

The five new deaths reported on May 14 included three Deptford residents between the ages of 71 and 89, a 64-year-old Washington Twp. woman and a 100-year-old West Deptford woman.

Gloucester County saw a small increase in COVID-19 cases on May 14, with 23 positive cases reported. Despite the increase, the 60 cases reported over the last three days is the fewest in a three-day span since April 14-16.

The 23 new cases for May 14 are broken down as follows by municipality:

  • Clayton – 1
  • Deptford – 8
  • Elk – 1
  • Franklin Twp. – 2
  • Monroe Twp. – 4
  • Pitman – 1
  • Swedesboro – 1
  • Washington Twp. – 2
  • West Deptford – 2
  • Woodbury – 1
