Six more COVID-19 deaths reported in Gloucester County, 18 new cases on May 13

It is the second straight day Gloucester County has reported new COVID-19 case totals in the teens.

For the second straight day, Gloucester County has reported six new deaths of individuals ill will COVID-19, bringing the county’s total death toll to 96.

According to health officials, five of the six deaths reported on May 13 were Deptford residents, with four of the deaths involving those 70 years or older. The sixth death was a 91-year-old Washington Twp. man.

For the second straight day, Gloucester County is reporting new COVID-19 case totals in the teens. There are 18 new COVID-19 cases on May 13 after 19 were reported yesterday. Since April 1, there have only been four other days with new COVID-19 case totals of less than 20 (April 2 and 3, and April 15 and 16).

Here is the breakdown of new COVID-19 cases by municipality:

  • Deptford – 9
  • Franklin Twp. – 1
  • Monroe Twp. – 2
  • Pitman – 1
  • South Harrison Twp. – 1
  • West Deptford – 1
  • Westville – 1
  • Woodbury – 1
  • Woolwich – 1
