May 6 update: Gloucester County reporting two more deaths, 46 new COVID-19 cases

A 90-year-old man from Woodbury and 98-year-old woman from Washington Township have passed away after testing positive for COVID-19.

Gloucester County health officials have confirmed two more county residents ill with COVID-19 have died.

According to an update from the county, a 90-year-old Woodbury man and a 98-year-old Washington Township woman have died after testing positive for COVID-19. Gloucester County now has 65 confirmed COVID-19 deaths.

Gloucester County reported 46 new COVID-19 cases on May 6. Here is the breakdown of new cases by municipality:

  • Deptford – 8
  • East Greenwich – 3
  • Elk – 1
  • Franklin Twp. – 3
  • Glassboro – 4
  • Harrison Twp. – 4
  • Logan – 3
  • Monroe Twp. – 4
  • Paulsboro – 3
  • South Harrison – 1
  • Swedesboro – 1
  • Washington Twp. – 5
  • West Deptford – 1
  • Westville – 1
  • Woodbury – 4
