Weekend update: Gloucester County reports three deaths, 81 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday and Sunday

Gloucester County now has a total of 738 confirmed positive COVID-19 cases.

Gloucester County health officials confirmed three more county residents have died due to COVID-19 as well as 71 new cases between Saturday and Sunday.

The three deaths and 48 of the new cases were reported on Saturday, April 18. An additional 33 positive cases were reported on Sunday.

As of Sunday, a total of 3,311 tests have been conducted in the county. The county has had 738 positive cases, 2,551 negative and 27 are pending.

The new positive cases by municipality are as follows:

  • Clayton – 3
  • Deptford – 10
  • East Greenwich – 1
  • Elk – 1
  • Franklin Township – 4
  • Glassboro – 4
  • Greenwich – 1
  • Harrison Township – 1
  • Logan – 2
  • Mantua – 5
  • Monroe Township – 15
  • Pitman – 3
  • Swedesboro – 3
  • Washington Township – 12
  • Wenonah – 1
  • West Deptford – 8
  • Westville – 1
  • Woodbury – 5
  • Woolwich – 1

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.
