Four new COVID-19 deaths, 38 new positive cases reported in Gloucester County on April 17

Gloucester County has scheduled its third drive thru testing date for Thursday, April 23.

Gloucester County has announced four additional residents who have died from COVID-19 as well as 38 more positive cases on the morning of April 17.

The four new deaths brings the county’s number up to 22 since the start of the pandemic. They include a 66-year-old man, a 70-year-old man, a 77-year-old man and an 84-year-old woman.

As of Friday, the county has conducted 3,083 total tests. Of these cases, 2,398 have come back negative, 657 were positive and 28 are pending.

The new positive COVID-19 cases are as follows:

  • A male from Deptford. Age is unknown at this time.
  • A 59-year-old male from Washington Twp.
  • A 54-year-old female from West Deptford
  • A 69-year-old male from Westville
  • A 77-year-old male from Mantua
  • A 62-year-old female from Woodbury
  • A 48-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
  • A 45-year-old female from Deptford
  • A 55-year-old male from Mantua
  • A 43-year-old male from Wenonah
  • A 54-year-old female from Deptford
  • A 58-year-old female from Mantua
  • A 59-year-old male from West Deptford
  • A 60-year-old female from Glassboro
  • A 66-year-old male from Pitman
  • A 50-year-old female from East Greenwich
  • A 30-year-old female from Washington Twp.
  • A 28-year-old male from Mantua
  • A 34-year-old female from Washington Twp.
  • A 53-year-old female from Swedesboro
  • A 34-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
  • A 52-year-old male from Harrison Twp.
  • A 50-year-old female from Logan
  • A 48-year-old female from Swedesboro
  • A 24-year-old female from Clayton
  • A 76-year-old female from Deptford
  • A 46-year-old female from Washington Twp.
  • A 41-year-old female from Washington Twp.
  • A 44-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
  • A 26-year-old male from Washington Twp.
  • A 21-year-old female from Woolwich
  • A 39-year-old female from Washington Twp.
  • A 50-year-old female from Logan
  • A 34-year-old female from Washington Twp.
  • A 59-year-old female from Washington Twp.
  • A 47-year-old male from Woolwich
  • A 49-year-old male from East Greenwich
  • A 32-year-old male from Woodbury

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.
