Cherry Hill Township closing municipal buildings

In order to protect the health and safety of the community and township employees, and to help minimize the spread of COVID-19, the Cherry Hill Township Municipal Building and the Department of Public Works Administrative Offices, will be temporarily closed to the public and non-essential employees for a two week period beginning Monday, March 16, 2020.

The closure will remain in effect through March 29, at which time the situation will be reevaluated. All essential township operations — including police and public works, will continue functioning. Emergency services will continue. Trash and recycling will continue to be collected.

This closure includes Municipal Court.The Cherry Hill Public Library will close starting Sunday, March 15 through Sunday, March 29.

The township will be reviewing all scheduled public meetings, including township council, to determine whether they are necessary for the continuation of governmental operations.

Township leadership staff have been meeting regularly to address and respond to the latest guidance. This situation continues to evolve, so please monitor the township website and  social media sites for additional information.
