Eastern Regional High School to start remote learning on Monday

Remote learning is currently scheduled for the high school through Friday, March 27.

Eastern Regional High School has activated its remote learning plan through Friday, March 27, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Classes will meet Monday through Friday according to the district’s remote learning bell schedule. A link to the schedule is available at www.eccrsd.us.

Schools are tentatively scheduled to re-open on Monday, March 30, for a normal school day. All field trips, athletics events and practice, and other extracurricular activities are also cancelled. School district administration will keep all families and staff informed as additional information develops.

Eastern officials said in a statement there has been no report of any student or staff member being infected, or directly exposed to infection as of press time.

Following information from the New Jersey Department of Education, the administrative and educational staff in all schools began working on plans to deliver on-going educational programming during an extended school closure.  While it won’t be possible to replicate an in-school learning environment, Eastern educators are committed to keeping students engaged and supported throughout the duration of the closure.
