Distributing Dignity to feature at The Haddon Fortnightly

Info about local non-profit which exists to help women in transition.

Joan Balderstone, Co-Founder of Distributing Dignity, Inc., will share information about Distributing Dignity on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 7:30pm at The Haddon Fortnightly, 301 Kings Highway. Distributing Dignity is a non-profit organization which enhances the dignity of women in need by distributing feminine hygiene and undergarments.

Distributing Dignity exists to help women in transition. For some, this transition is immediate and short lived. For others, the transition might be long in the making and may take some time to complete. Distributing Dignity partners with 70 other non-profit organizations in 52 cities that service women in care who may be aging out of foster care, seeking refuge from domestic violence or abuse, struggling with life altering illnesses, displaced by disaster, and homeless veterans and teens.

Distributing Dignity’s volunteers come together as an organization to say outwardly to each woman in need that they are here to help them with a very basic need while communicating a quiet yet poignant message that we see their value as people…as women.
