Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) that crews will be pulling wire on Lower Landing Road in Gloucester Township between Thursday, Dec. 26, and Friday, Dec. 27. The project will require a portion of the roadway to be closed fully to traffic.
“Road closures can affect traffic patterns and travel times throughout the surrounding area, so it’s important for motorists to be aware of how this may affect their commute,” Shin Angulo said. “Motorists should be alert for shifting traffic patterns, congestion, and sudden stops when in the construction area. Make sure to leave extra time when commuting and remain extra vigilant of additional hazards when driving near crews and equipment.”
Beginning on Thursday, Dec. 26, at 8:30 a.m., crews will close Lower Landing Road between Lakeview Drive and the Route 42 off-ramp. The closure will remain in place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on Friday, Dec. 27. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
