The following is on file with the Evesham Police Department:
On Sept. 23, at 2:30 a.m., The Evesham Police Department responded to Tuckerton Road for a reported motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
Preliminary investigation shows a Ford van was traveling east on Tuckerton Road heading towards Medford Township. A male and female were walking west on the eastbound shoulder when the female entered the lane of travel and was struck by the van. The female was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the truck remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Female victim: Gennay Reader, age 29, of Newark Delaware.
