Aug. 29
- Patrols assisted a motorist that had locked their keys in their vehicle while at their house.
- Officers checked the roadway for two dumpsters that were in the roadway, potentially blocking the road for emergency vehicles. The roadway was passable enough.
- Units responded to a minor crash in the parking lot of the super Wawa.
- Units responded along with EMS and the Fire Department for a crash on the exit ramp from Route 55.
- Officers took a theft report for a kids tricycle that was left by the curb over night and a scrapper had taken it.
- Patrols received a wallet that was found in the street. The officers attempted to make contact with the owner, but were unable.
- Officers responded with the fire department for a report of something on fire by the railroad tracks on Lambs Rd. but nothing was located.
- Units responded to a resident that lent out his vehicle to a friend early this morning, however, the friend still had not returned the vehicle by 11 p.m.
Aug. 30
- Patrols responded to an intoxicated male sleeping in a driveway. Officers made contact and took him home.
- Officers responded to the Lowes store for a vehicle that was locked with a two-year-old inside. Officers were able to make entry and the child was fine.
- Our K9 Unit did a K9 demonstration for the children at Centre City School and JMT School that are there for the summer program.
- Officers took a report for a township owned trash can that was hit by a car and needed to be replaced.
- Patrols responded to a crash on Route 45 where one vehicle needed to be towed from the scene.
- Units received a report of juveniles riding bicycles in front of vehicles in the parking lot of the Home Depot and Kohls.
- Patrols responded to a crash on Route 45 by the Telford In
- Officers responded to a neighbor complaint for a report of an adult that cursed and made an obscene gesture to a juvenile as they drove by.
- Ptl. Hauss conducted a motor vehicle stop and found an underage operator in possession of alcohol. Subject was issued a summons and alcohol was confiscated.
- Ptl. Crispin conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested an occupant for outstanding warrants. They were processed and released.
- Ptl. Wolfsgruber investigated a suspicious person and arrested them for outstanding warrants. They were also processed and released.
Aug. 31
- Ptl. Mroz conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested an occupant for outstanding warrants. They were turned over to the county jail.
- Officers conducted foot patrol in Ceres Park during the morning hours.
- Officers supervised community service workers who cleaned up litter along Glassboro Rd in the area of Tylers Mill Rd.
- Units responded to a domestic disturbance between adult siblings over the placement of a cigarette in a non-working toilet.
- Officers who are members of the County Emergency Response Team mustered in Pitman for a demonstration.
- Units assisted Washington Twp PD with looking for a missing male.
- Patrols responded to the Wawa on Route 45 for a report of subjects loitering in vehicles in the parking lot.
Sept. 1
- Ptl. Wolfsgruber conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested an occupant for outstanding warrants. Subject was processed and released.
- Offices responded to a report of someone hitting the caller’s front door at 3 a.m., however, officers could not locate anyone in the area.
- Units responded to a stolen motor vehicle that had occurred sometime overnight. Officers were able to track the location to Route 295 where it was recovered on the side of the road unoccupied.
- Patrols responded to a subject that was bitten by a neighbor’s dog. There were no serious injuries.
- Officers supervised community service workers who cleaned up litter along Main St. by Mt Royal Rd.
- Units took a report of identity theft where the victim’s social security number was used.
- Units responded to a report of a six-year-old playing on a tablet and an unknown person attempted to facetime the juvenile.
- Patrols responded along with the fire department to a small garage fire at a residence on Berkley Rd.
- Patrols responded to a report of a loud explosion that was heard in the Villages of Berkley, however, nothing was located.
- Ptl. Mroz conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested an occupant for outstanding warrants. He was processed and released.
Sept. 2
- Officers responded to cows that were on Mantua Blvd during the early morning hours.
- Units cleared a large branch that was on the roadway, blocking part of the roadway.
- Patrols responded to a report of a dog that bit another dog.
- Officers responded to a minor crash in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree.
- Patrols responded to a report of hearing gunshots in the area, however, officers located fireworks in the immediate area.
- Units responded to a domestic disturbance between a couple that were only arguing at this time.
Sept. 3
- Units responded to a minor crash in the parking lot of the Wawa store on Route 45.
- Ptl. Schnarr responded to the super Wawa for a report of an unconscious male in the parking lot. Further investigation revealed the subject had an active warrant. He was arrested and processed.
- Officers took a report for a lost license plate.
- Units responded to two separate calls where an elderly victim was telephoned and attempted to be scammed.
- Patrols responded to a crash on Tylers Mill Rd near Glassboro Rd.
- Ptl. Oldrati conducted a stop and arrested a subject on outstanding warrants.
- Officers responded to a suspicious incident in which a woman covered a homeowners video door bell.
- Units responded to a disabled motor vehicle that was stuck in the middle of the roadway, blocking traffic. Officers stood by until the tow arrived.
- Officers took a theft report for 100 tennis balls and dog toys.
Sept. 4
- Units responded to a minor crash in the parking lot of Dippys Ice Cream.
- Officers and the Fire Department responded to a small mulch fire at the Township Municipal Building.
- Patrols responded to a two-vehicle crash on Center Street by the railroad tracks. An ambulance and tow truck were needed.
- Units responded to a neighbor complaint in an apartment complex where one neighbor threated to put their foot up their rear end.
- Officers responded to a crash on Glassboro Rd in the area of Lambs Rd.
- Patrols responded along with the fire department to a large branch that had fallen on Jackson Rd.
- Units responded to a 20-year-old male that had overdosed on heroin. He was alert upon our arrival.
