Heavy rain could arrive in South Jersey later today. As the National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for the entire region through 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
Showers and thunderstorms could bring heavy rain into the area beginning on Monday afternoon. Rainfall totals of one to two inches are expected, with locally heavier amount of three to four inches possible.
The risk of flash flooding is highest in urban and low-lying areas. Rapid rises on small creeks and streams are possible.
