Beginning Thursday, July 18, crews will be performing emergency drainage repairs at the intersection of Chapel Avenue and Hinchman Avenue in Cherry Hill. The repairs will require road closures in and around the construction area.
“Road closures can affect traffic patterns and travel times throughout the surrounding area, so it’s important for motorists to be aware of how this may affect their commute,” said Camden County Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo. “Motorists should be alert for shifting traffic patterns, congestion, and sudden stops when in the construction area. Make sure to leave extra time when commuting and remain extra vigilant of additional hazards when driving near crews and equipment.”
Beginning tomorrow, Chapel Avenue will be closed to westbound traffic from Hinchman Avenue to the South Center Street circle. Hinchman Avenue will also be fully closed between Chapel Avenue and Evergreen Avenue. The closures will be in effect Thursday and Friday, July 19, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
This project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours on July 19. Scheduling and project timing is also dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
