Law firm Parker McCay, headquartered in Mt. Laurel, welcomes three summer associates to its headquarters: Delran resident Brian Berkoff, a student at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law; Haddon Township resident Katherine Orr, a student at Temple University School of Law; and Canton, Pa., resident Shailynne Swain, a student at Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law.
The summer associate program provides rising third year law students with an opportunity to experience life as new attorneys practicing at a law firm. During their program, which run from June 3 until Aug. 2, the students will rotate through a few different practice areas to learn more about what it is like to practice in particular areas of law and confirm which specialties interest them the most. With support from their assigned peer mentors, the summer associates will be exposed to a wide array of matters and have the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways. They will also be attending professional development trainings, networking events, and team bonding activities.
