SPECIAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER (PART-TIME) — CLASS I
The police department prefer Gloucester Township residents for the part-time position, in which hours vary between day, night, weekends and holidays. Salary is $13.37 an hour. Under direction of a supervisor, Special Officers will perform varied types of traffic and security details; other related duties as required. Appointees must have a valid driver’s license in New Jersey. There will be an extensive background investigation, including a physical, drug testing and a psychological exam. Training will be provided for the individual that is hired.
PUBLIC SAFETY TELECOMMUNICATOR TRAINEE — Part Time
Under close supervision as a trainee and productive worker, receives and responds to telephone or other electronic requests for emergency assistance including law enforcement, fire, medical, or other emergency services and/or dispatches appropriate units to response sites; does other related duties as required. The position is open to Gloucester Township residents at a rate of $17.09 an hour. Officers must be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. Applicant must pass a criminal background check and maintain such security clearance throughout employment.
PART TIME SCHOOL TRAFFIC GUARD
The officer will work 10 hours a week and on an on-call basis at a rate of $10.99 an hour. Applicants must pass a criminal background check and maintain such security clearance throughout employment.
