Cherry Hill West boys swimming has also qualified for the postseason, which kicks off next week.
Cherry Hill High School East’s boys and girls swimming teams are hoping for another successful postseason as they are both the top seeds in South Jersey Group A for the 2019 NJSIAA state tournament.
The swimming playoff brackets were released by the NJSIAA on Thursday. In the boys South Jersey Group A sectional tournament, Cherry Hill East is the №1 seed. They will get a bye into the sectional semifinals. The boys sectional finals are scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 14. Cherry Hill East is going for its eighth consecutive sectional title.
Cherry Hill East girls swimming is also the №1 seed in the girls South Jersey Group A sectional tournament. As with the boys, the girls will receive a bye into the sectional semifinals. The Cougars are trying for their third straight sectional title. The girls South Jersey sectionals finals are scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 13.
Cherry Hill West boys swimming has also qualified for the postseason. The Lions are the №7 seed in the South Jersey Group B sectional tournament. The Lions will take on №6 Kingsway Regional High School in the first round on Tuesday, Feb. 5. The meet will take place at 5:15 p.m. at GCIT.
