A mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
Virginia Tatarian, a longtime resident of Moorestown, NJ, passed away on Dec 7.
Born August 19, 1932 in Philadelphia, Virginia graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in economics in 1954. She worked in banking prior to marrying Gabriel Tatarian, M.D. in 1960 and having twins.
An accomplished painter, Virginia was known by friends and family for her extremely caring and intelligent nature. She always found something complimentary to say to friends and strangers alike and was dedicated to helping those in need. She lived by her mantra, “Blessed are those who give without remembering and receive without forgetting.” She was genuinely humble and gracious to all.
She is survived by her children, Ted Tatarian of Wayne, Pa. and Christine (Greg) Parseghian of McLean, Va., her grandchildren, Gregory and Alexander Parseghian, Madeleine and Matthew Tatarian and beloved nieces, nephews and their children. Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gabriel in 2014.
A mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church located at: 42 W. Main St. in Moorestown. A viewing will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. at Lewis’ Funeral Home located at: 78 E. Main St. in Moorestown. Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to The Armenian Sister’s Academy at: 440 Gulph Rd., Radnor, PA, 19087.
