The local optometrist’s office is collecting donations that will be delivered to someone in need in the Dominican Republic
From now until Dec. 18, Bacho Family Eye Care at 1104 Route 130 N in Cinnaminson is collecting old and used glasses to be donated to someone in need in the Dominican Republic.
The local optometrist’s office is partnering with Project HOPE and Pieces Left Behind for their annual service trip.
According to their mission statement, “Project HOPE operates around the world wherever the need is greatest, working side-by-side with health care workers and their communities, addressing the greatest public health challenges to enable people to live their best lives. We respond to disasters and health crises and stay on in communities long after disaster strikes to help find solutions to epidemics and any other neglected health needs.”
Don’t miss this chance to give someone from the Dominican Republic the gift of sight this holiday season. For more information you can contact Bacho Family Eye Care at (856) 303-1506.
