Mt. Laurel Police seek information in one-vehicle crash

Police say a vehicle allegedly ran off the road and struck a fire hydrant, causing significant damage.

The following information is on file with the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department:

On Nov 5 at 3:15 p.m., patrols with the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department responded to the area of Masonville Road and Fleetwood Avenue for a report of a one-vehicle crash.

According to police, a witness to the crash reported that an older model red SUV, possibly a Jeep Cherokee,was traveling southbound on Masonville Road and allegedly swerved to avoid striking another vehicle.

Police say the red vehicle then allegedly ran off the road and struck a fire hydrant, causing significant damage.

The MLPD is seeking assistance in identifying the driver and involved vehicle.
