“This project will require detours and closures on different days, so motorists should make sure to be aware of how the project will affect their route on a particular night,” said Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “When driving through the construction area, motorists must be mindful of sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and other additional hazards.”

The stretch of Church Road between Haddonfield Road and Mall Drive will be closed to thru traffic from 7 p.m. through 6 a.m. overnight on Monday and Tuesday. Motorists will be directed along a detour route utilizing Haddonfield Road, Route 38 and Mall Drive to circumvent the closure.

Crews will continue working on Wednesday, September 19, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., however the project will not force closures at that time. However, several lanes will be shifted while crews are at work.

Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
