Mt. Laurel Police seek information in alleged hit-and-run incident

On Sept. 1 at approximately 10:15 p.m., police say an unidentified vehicle allegedly struck a bicyclist as he was riding on Centerton Road.

The following information is on file with the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department:

The Mt. Laurel Police Traffic Unit and Detective Bureau are asking for the public’s assistance in locating an alleged hit-and-run vehicle and driver.

On Sept. 1 at approximately 10:15 p.m., police say an unidentified vehicle allegedly struck a bicyclist as he was riding on Centerton Road.

Police say an investigation revealed that the impact allegedly occurred on Centerton Road in the area of Lockheed Martin (770 Centerton Road).

According to police, the bicyclist reported after leaving Laurel Creek Country Club, he headed eastbound on Centerton Road towards Creek Road. Police say he last allegedly remembers headlights behind him and then being struck by the vehicle.

Police say the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

According to police, the evidence located at the scene determined the alleged vehicle to be a 2016–2018 Tesla Model X. According to police, the vehicle should allegedly have passenger side front end damage.
