Residents are encouraged to donate items for the church’s “Thrifty Treasures Rummage Sale”
Haddonfield United Methodist Church’s Thrifty Treasures Rummage Sale will be held Thursday, Sept. 27, through Saturday, Sept. 29.
There will be a great variety of items for sale. On Thursday, the market will be open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It will also been open Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon and again from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Fresh home-baked goods will be available for purchase on Friday and Saturday, and there will also be a soup, sandwich and beverage lunch available on Friday from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to donate items while they are cleaning out their homes. The church will be accepting donations from the sale on Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The church is not accepting large exercise equipment, large pieces of furniture, magazines, computers, used shoes for adults and children over 5 years of age, or anything combustible.
All proceeds from the sale will go to the missions work of the United Methodist Women.
