Monica O’Kane of Cherry Hill is a student at Stockton University.
A Cherry Hill college student is one of six summer interns working with SOSH Architects in Atlantic City this summer.
Monica O’Kane, a Cherry Hill resident, is a junior business studies major with a concentration in marketing and a minor in Art Studio at Stockton University. O’Kane is working with SOSH as a marketing intern and aims to help develop the company through social media, print advertisements, online marketing, and public relations. Outside of SOSH, Monica is a cake decorator at Wegmans, enjoys yoga and is Stockton University’s Student Senate vice president.
“The summer internship program is an important step in each intern’s professional development as it provides them the opportunity to gain valuable in-job experience very early in their careers which better prepares them upon graduating,” said Mark Petrella, principal at SOSH. “We are very proud to provide these opportunities for the students and they have proven to be extremely helpful in our work.”
