South Jersey Gas to work on a multi-phase gas main installation project
Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo has been informed by South Jersey Gas that work will begin tomorrow on a multi-phase gas main installation on Somerdale Road in Somerdale and Gloucester Township. To accommodate the construction, one lane of the roadway will be closed with alternating traffic between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Phase one of construction will take place from July 25 to 26 on Somerdale Road between West Atlantic Avenue and Warwick Road.
Phase two of construction will take place from July 27 to 28 on Somerdale Road between Warwick Road and Eaton Place.
“Whenever you are driving through a construction zone, please watch for traffic instructions and be prepared to stop,” said Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “Also, please give yourself extra time to reach your destination due to the lane closure and increased traffic in the area.”
