Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office seeks location of man indicted for alleged insurance fraud

The prosecutor’s office is asking residents in the the South Jersey/Philly area if they’ve seen Zumar Dubose.

The following information comes from the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office:

The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office is asking residents in the the South Jersey/Philly area if they’ve seen Zumar Dubose, the man pictured above.

According to the prosecutor’s office, Dubose was recently indicted on charges of insurance fraud and false reports to law enforcement for allegedly opening a renters insurance policy under a fictitious name, claiming he was renting a property in Moorestown, then filing a fictitious theft report with the Moorestown Police Department.

Dubose, 29, who is from the Winslow area, is considered a fugitive by the prosecutor’s office.

The prosecutor’s office is seeking the help of the public to determine his whereabouts. He is believed to travel between two addresses, one in Winslow and one in Philadelphia.

If anyone has seen Dubose, call the prosecutor’s office at (609) 265–5035 and ask to speak to Det. Steve Laramie in the Insurance Fraud Unit.

An indictment is merely an accusation. Defendants are presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty.
