Hoey recently celebrated her 90th birthday.
Marie Elizabeth Hoey [nee Foskett], also know as Chickie and Nana, passed away on June 27. She recently celebrated her 90th birthday. Marie was born in New York City and never let you forget it.
Marie was a former member of Holy Name Parish and Altar Rosary Society in Delran and most recently Our Lady of Good Counsel in Moorestown. She had retired from Dakis Oldmobile and was a devoted volunteer with Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice for more than 22Â years.
Marie was the wife of her grade school classmate, the late Robert T. Hoey Sr. She was also the mother of Robert (Donna) Hoey and Gerry Hoey.
She is also survived by her six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Jean Marie Satkofsky; brother, Charles A. Foskett and sister-in –law, Sarah.
At the request of the family, services will be held privately.
