RCGC revitalizes athletic program, brings back golf

Press release issued by Rowan College at Gloucester County

Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) is bringing it back to 1991, with the revival of an athletic program the College retired more than 25 years ago — golf.

The RCGC Roadrunners closed out the 2018 spring semester by hosting the College’s first golf home match since 1991 at the Pitman Golf Course, against Camden County College. The match began with a short ceremony and tee-off, commemorating the occasion.

Head Coach Jim Clarke is actively recruiting female and male players for next season’s golf team. For more information about RCGC Athletic programs, visit RCGC.edu/Athletics.
